The men's team had a very strong conference season, coming up short by only eight points behind Whitman college for the title. They captured first in four races, second in one, and fourth in another. At the USCSA Western Regionals the men skied well and finished fourth behind Westminster, Rocky Mountain College, and Whitman College. At Nationals in Sunday River, the men struggled a with a few key mistakes and crashes limiting their result. They finished 13th overall despite having their top two racers crash.
Rookie
Matt Bunston was a standout all season long winning five races and he claimed the conference individual title. At regionals, Bunston finished seventh in the slalom. He was tenth in the GS at Nationals, good enough for a second team All-American nod. In the slalom at Nationals, Bunston was fourth after the first run but did not finish the second as he was thrown from a rough course.
The women's team also had a very successful season. At the conference championship, the women edged out the College of Idaho for the Northwest title in the final race of the competition. At Regionals, the women were sitting in a great position after the slalom but they didn't perform as well in the GS with a few crashes ultimately hindering their chance of going to Nationals. Regardless of the result at Regionals, the women were a very strong team and should be even better next season.
Emma Beattie, another rookie standout, won every race she competed in at the conference level. She also took third in the slalom at regionals which helped her qualify for Nationals. She had a tough GS race at that competition but came right back with a 12th place finish in the slalom to earn third team All-American recognition.
