VANCOUVER – An improving UBC Thunderbirds men's hockey team will begin the 2012-13 regular season on the road with two games (Sept. 28-29) against the Regina Cougars.
UBC will play 14 home and 14 road games this season in Canada West action as the league welcomes a new team, the Mt. Royal Cougars from Calgary.
This gives the conference eight teams. Six will qualify for the post-season.
