
To give back to the ones that cheer us on the loudest, we are offering FREE ADMISSION to all UBC STUDENTS with presentation of UBC Student Card. You will still require a ticket to enter all of our gated sport events this season, so please ensure you order your ticket ahead of time as space could be limited. If you would like to purchase your ticket at the door, please note it will be cashless, we encourage fans to pre-purchase your tickets ahead of time online.

Gated sports include: Men's & Women's Basketball, Men's & Women's Hockey, Men's & Women's Soccer, Men's & Women's Volleyball, and Football. Our traditionally non-gated sports, such as Field Hockey, Baseball and Softball, will continue to be free of charge and will not require a ticket.

Health and Safety Practices
- Prior to coming to an event, please do a self-assessment and stay home if you are sick
- For the safety and security of all guests, you may be denied entry if you are:Â
- intoxicated or in possession of / impaired by illegal substancesÂ
- engage in conduct deemed to be inappropriate or unsafe
Parking
- Parking is available in close proximity to all of the UBC Sporting Venues
- For events at War Memorial Gym, please park in the University Blvd Lot, a 2-minute walk from the venue, or North Parkade
- For events at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre, please park in Thunderbird Parkade, a 2-minute walk from the venue
- For events at Thunderbird Stadium, please park in the Thunderbird Stadium lot, directly in front of the venue, or Thunderbird Parkade

No Re-Entry Policy
- The UBC Thinderbirds have a 'No Re-Entry' policy for all of their events
Animal Policy
- UBC sporting venues prohibit animals of any kind with the exception of service animals. All other animals will be asked to remain outside the facility
Food and Beverage
- No outside alcohol will be permitted within the venues
- All concession areas will be cashless - credit cards and debit cards only will be accepted
- The following events will have a concession available and no outside food or drinks will be permitted:
- UBC Thunderbirds Football Games
- UBC Thunderbirds Hockey Games
- These events will have a limited concession offering and will allow outside food into the venue:
- UBC Thunderbirds Basketball Games (liquor service will be available)
- UBC Thunderbirds Volleyball Games (liquor service will be available)
- UBC Thunderbirds Soccer Games
- A food delivery pick-up zone will be established for Thunderbird Stadium games
- Elevated food service will be available at festivals
Bag and Inspection Policy
- Travel Light! We strongly recommend leaving all bags at home for expedited entry into the event
- All bags brought to the event are subject a search by security
- You may be requested to submit to an inspection when entering the venue. Guests that refuse inspection may be denied entry.
- Please retain your ticket for inspection at entry and at any time during the event.Â
Prohibited items
- Outside Alcohol
- Laser pointers
- Weapons of any kind, including knives
- Illegal drugs or noxious substances
- Electrically/ non-human powered noise makers (ie. air horns, megaphones) and whistlesÂ
- Spray cans or aerosols
- Projectiles, fireworks & dronesÂ
- Outside Food and Beverage during festival games and within certain venues (see food and beverage info section)
- All other items deemed inappropriate for entry
